Well, I thought that I would let you know that our district has 3 probable cases of Swine Flu at 3 different campuses.....out of the 34 campuses in our district, wouldn't you know that BOTH of the campuses that my children attend are affected! So, with our health concerns at this house: John's auto-immune disease and my being pregnant, we are choosing to keep our girls home from school tomorrow. I am hearing all kinds of information from e-mails saying the media is blowing this way, way out of proportion to this is a bad virus and it would be harmful to our family! Pray that we stay healthy and that we make the right decisions for our family.

Potty Training Blues....or Yellows!
Well, we have graduated from this.....
To this.........
But only when Miss Priss feels like it. Today was one of those days that we ventured out in PANTIES! She did great, and even used the gross public restrooms. We had a VERY long list of groceries to get at Kroger, and she and Blayne were perfect angels in the store. I thought that they deserved a special treat so as I began to unload the cart, I told them that they could get out of their little "car" that was attached on the front of my cart and pick out a candy or treat from the check out stand. In all of her excitement of perusing the aisle, Miss Reagan wet her panties...well, actually, there was a HUGE puddle on the floor! I told the checker and gave Blayne instructions to finish unloading the cart. I took my wet princess to the nearby bathroom where I changed her pants and got her new panties to wear. She kept apologizing, and it was so cute! "I so sorry Momma that I tee-tee'd in my panies" I kept telling her that it was okay. We quickly returned to our registered where the nice lady had rung up our HUGE grocery pile and she has a manager waiting to take me to customer service to complete my check out. I turned to smile at the LONG line of people that were stacked up and waiting (I am sure that they LOVED my five-year-old unloading my huge cart) only to meet eyes with the lady behind me who is a cute little mom that was in my Mom's In Touch Bible Study last year....sigh....her cute high school aged daughter was standing in the EXACT spot where my little princess had just pee'd!!! I told her what had happened as she laughed, and I walked off, I told her cute teenaged daughter that she might want to wash her shoes when she gets home!!!! Ahhhhh....the adventures of toddler-hood. Boy these kids keep me humble!

Adoption
The parents that are adopting these two beautiful babies grew up with John. We got Rudy from them 6 1/2 years ago and have kept up with their lives through my sister-in-law, Becky. We have been following their adoption journey. They found out today that everything is finalized and they get to go to Ethiopia and get their babies! Many of you that read our blog are passionate about adoption, so I thought that you would enjoy this video. Be praying for the Jacoby family as they travel to get their children and add two babies to the two that they already have! It has been exciting to watch their journey unfold!

Church Musical
This is Carolyn in the brown to the left. Isn't God good!
Savannah's musical was last night at church. It was a real treat to have Blayne and Whitney's choirs sing before the musical began. Blayne was hilarious, because he lost a tooth yesterday so he kept sticking his tongue in the empty space during the song. They all three did a GREAT job. Nana and Pappaw attending the performance, and Keith and Becky and their kids came to watch. The kids were happy to have some people in the audience there to support them!

What a Day!!!!!!
Okay, I wanted to share my day...so far!!!!
*got up a little late and was having to rush to get everyone fed and the girls off to school.
*had to wait for a while for carpool
*came back got ready for Bible Study, worked on my lesson THAT WASN'T ready!!!!
*Luke got out and retrieved the neighbor's papers
*found a huge "wet" spot on my dining room table cloth...thought it was pee, but discovered that Reagan spilled her juice there...this morning at some point when I wasn't looking....cleaned that up.
*got ready to head out for Bible Study and couldn't find my lesson ANYWHERE, had to leave without it.
*took off for class, miles down the road Reagan announces that I haven't buckled her...had to pull over and take care of it!
*was late to Bible Study
*Got called out of Bible Study and assumed that it was for Reagan, but was met with my bawling son who had dirt and wood chips all over him: coming out of his nose, eyes and mouth...seems that an angry child in his class went off on Blayne and pelted him in the face with wood chips, he was so upset, his feelings were hurt, it scared him and he was embarrassed on top of the fact that he swallowed wood chips!!! He wanted to go home, but I cleaned him up and made him go back to class.
*I was nauseous, emotional and I wanted to go home too!
*During our lecture time, there was a maintenance man DRILLING and HAMMERING at the back of the sanctuary WHILE we were having our study!!!
*On a bright note, my friend, Lori, (not to be confused with LAURIE) gave me some yummy minty gum that helped with my nausea and she also joked that maybe she should just take me home because my day was not getting any better! (maybe I should have listened!)
*I took Blayne and Reagan to Chili's for lunch. Blayne loves Chili's and he needed a pick-me-up after his traumatic morning!
*We got there, got a table and were enjoying eachother's company. Blayne and I both needed to go to the restroom, so we took our bags and went to the restroom...thought about asking this sweet looking couple of watch my table (should have) because when we returned ALL of our things were gone...no drinks, utensils, menus, crayons...ALL gone.
*the waitress noticed the error and quickly replaced our drinks. Blayne was bummed because we were in the middle of playing a game on his menu! argh!
*got our food and it was DELICIOUS!
*to top off the meal, I ordered a Molten Chocolate Cake...a favorite of our family! The kids were so excited and it was a sweet way to end a bad morning for my Blayne.

*the waitress brought our ticket before the cake came out and I paid. When the cake came, we 1-2-3-SMASHED it all together and dug in, it was delicious, that is UNTIL my last bite which contained a LARGE piece of ONION in it! My pregnant gagger about tossed up my lunch!!!! It was the nastiest taste. I ended up telling my waitress, who got the manager, who responded "well, I can see how that happened since the onions are by the area where the Molten's are Made, let me take care of that for you...." I told him that I had already paid....so FIFTEEN minutes later, I was brought back the money....ARGH!!!! Thank goodness for Preggie Pops, as I didn't have any **gun. I popped one of those suckers in my mouth to try to mask the nasty taste.
*FINALLY we left there, ran into Home Depot, where I had to self check and it wouldn't work and the employee came to help and places a metal rod on my sign and scratched it (geesh!) So, my quick in-and-out at Home Depot was a drawn out stop!!!
*Got home and Luke had returned for other neighborhood treasures...he was waiting curled up and cute by the garage!!!! ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!
So, we are home, Reagan is in bed asleep, Blayne has recovered from his morning and I think I need a nap!!!!!!
What else will this day bring?????
**My sis-in-law pointed out this mistake...thought I would correct it, but then I thought "no, I'll leave it...it was probably a good thing that I didn't have a gun today!!!" That should be GUM....Gum...

I had to have pictures of all of the events at our school and then there is a formal order that all of the pages have to be in....whew...it is due Thursday and I must take a moments to share with you that I am D-O-N-E!!!!! And, also share that I will NOT be doing this job in the future! So, take a peek at what has consumed me this school year!

Easter Sweets and Treats
The "Easter Bunny" came later in the day on Sunday...maybe she is pregnant or something, but she couldn't stay up late on Saturday night and lay out the stash! Fortunately, we have GREAT kids, they didn't even ask "where's my Easter stuff???" They were very thankful and grateful for what they DID get later in the day. Then, on Monday, they ALL got letters from Bee and Grandpa...John and I did Too. Woo-Hoo! Easter Money!!!!

Bluebonnet Pictures
We try to take pictures in the Texas Bluebonnets every year. These are bluebonnets that are at my in-law's house. We did a quick photo shoot before our family Easter Brunch on Saturday.
