Please Pray

I will post (maybe tomorrow?) about our Family Get-a-way and I will share all of the wonderful pictures that I took. BUT tonight I would like to ask for you to pray for a little girl at our church. Her name is Carolyn and she is 10. While her choir was singing this morning, she just didn't look right, and I pulled a "Linda Baldwin" (for those that don't know her, that is my Momma!) and I went up and "got" her off of the stage and walked her out. Honestly, I thought that she was sick and was going to throw up or that she was about to faint. When I got her to the back of the church, she was not responsive at all she only mumbled one sentence to me "I just need to give this to my mom" ("it" was a wadded up wet paper towel) she wasn't making eye contact and she had a distant stare in her eyes. Her mom was in the hallway and a doctor immediately came to evaluate her. Her mom asked me to get her dad who was working with the youth. She was not responsive and was keeping her head tilted to the left. Anyway, she was taken to a local hospital and then careflighted to Dallas Children's. She is in ICU. She is intubated and having seizures. They don't know the cause. At this point the scans have all come back clear, the spinal tap was clear; no answers. She is now running a fever. Please pray for this family. She is one of 6 children. She is a sweet, quiet girl with a precious Momma and Daddy who must be scared about the unknowns of her condition. Please pray for Carolyn tonight.
