Christmas Parties

I was able to attend three parties in ONE day last week. The kids were so thrilled to have Bryan and Mom at their parties! The teachers made sure that they were very sugared up before sending them home. I love to see my children having so much fun at school. Too bad that they don't do parties in 7th grade...poor Savannah!

Bryan's First Haircut

We took Bryan to get his first haircut. He was so good. He didn't cry or fuss and almost seemed to enjoy the special treatment! He like all of his siblings got his haircut at "Cool Cuts for Kids". I have pictures of each of them getting their first cut! Awww....
He is growing up and looking more and more like a BIG kid!

Reagan enjoyed watching and doing ballet for the people that were at the shop. She actually has some pretty impressive moves, considering she has never taken dance.

It is Late.
Heard water on Monday night...LATE at night...was the only one awake...not good.
Plumber called. Came the next day. Found a leak the following day...in the MIDDLE of the house....living like a Pioneer Woman...no water...John started the repair tonight by digging the hole...ahem! by JACKHAMMERING the hole!!!! The plumbers will come to repair the pipe and the floor people will come repair the floor. There is ALWAYS something going on around here!!!!
Oh, and I should mention in the midst of this SOMEONE WANTS TO BUY OUR HOUSE!
God has always used his funny sense of humor when it comes to me!

Longview Visit

The kids and I took a trip to Longview last week to visit my parents and to catch up with my longtime friend, Sandra. She lives in Alabama now so I don't get to see her too often. We have a lot in common including the fact that we have FIVE kids that are smiliar ages and we had them in the same order...2 girls, 1 boy, 1 girl and now a baby boy! It was great to catch up and to see eachother's children. The kids had fun getting out at a park and of course they had a blast fishing with Grandpa and shooting his BB and pellet guns. We left Blayne there for a couple of days and he had a blast. Grandpa let him shoot the 22 rifle and took him to play a full round of golf. He also got to go to eat at Texas Roadhouse with Bee and Grandpa. I think he liked the life of being an only child!

BRYAN'S BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today is sweet Bryan's birthday. I can't believe that it has been a year since he was brought into this world! I can't imagine our family without him. He is a sweet, cuddly, funny baby. He is very laid back and easy going. He is standing up and crawling and exploring his world. He LOVES his siblings and lights up when Daddy gets home from work. He has found his voice and he is VERY loud when he wants to be! We love him and thank God for him and the blessing that he is to us. Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

Happy 38th Birthday John!!!

Today is the first time in my 19 years of knowing John and I am NOT with him on this birthday! He, being the wonderful Daddy that he is, is with ALL of the Fourth Grade at Sky Ranch. They are having a great time and I was told that they all sang Happy Birthday to him this morning. We look forward to getting them home tomorrow and hearing all about their camp adventures. Happy Birthday to my favorite guy and we look forward to celebrating YOU later this week!

Monkey Boy

We just love this boy! Bryan is very content to be gated into his room to play. He is so laid back and such a joy! He loves to pull to stand and to explore the world around him. He likes to play peek-a-boo with us through the gate. I can't believe he will be one in a week...boy has the time flown by!

Braces....and the Expander

Whitney had done GREAT with her braces and her expander. We made it through the 10 days of turns and she has been so good about following the rules on what she can and can't have and she has been taking great care of them!

Look Alikes

A while back I was shopping with Whitney. I was picking out a card and Whitney said "Mom, look at that card...it looks JUST like Reagan!" I must say that I agree!

Quadruple Dentist Appointment

I took the big kids for an appointment again TOGETHER. Don't you know that they love to see me coming!!!! The kids were really good and received lots of compliments. Reagan even sat in the BIG chair this time. No cavities....yeah God....thanks for giving our children JOHN'S teeth (he has NEVER had a cavity)
