Funny Whitney

Whitney is really funny when she is sick. I mean, she is funny when she is NOT sick too! But she is especially funny when sick. Her latest thing is Dictionary drills! She bought a new dictionary in the school book order. It came in last week and she was soooo excited. Now that she is feeling a bit better, she comes and sits RIGHT next to me and has me call out words and she as quickly as she can, flips through that huge dictionary to find the word. When she locates it, she giggles with glee and then reads me the definition...ALL of it. They are working on alphabetizing in class, so this is reinforcing what she is learning in class, but it is so funny to see her enthusiasm. Now, Savannah's way of handling sickness is to be VERY quiet, play her DS, watch movies and just lay there. I don't think Whitney's body can do that...the sitting still and being quiet part!
We continue to make progress toward wellness! Yeah!
