Snow Day!!!

We ended up getting more snow than they expected. I gave in and as you can see, I let Whitney play in the snow...I mean, who knows when/if we will ever get snow like this again? It took John a long time to get home from work, but when he got here, he was a good sport and played with the kids in the snow. I was thankful as I had been out there for a while. Gracie brought Savannah home from school and told me that she saw several cars on the side of the road as she made her way here. John had to try to get home several different ways before he got here. One of our neighbors slid into a ditch on our street! At this point, I am thinking that there will be NO school tomorrow! If the snow doesn't clear, I don't know if we will be able to get out of out street.
Fun times in Texas...notice the horse lessons from YESTERDAY in my previous blog. Only in Texas is the sun shinning on you one day in your short sleeves and the next day you are playing in the snow!
