My Day....WARNING...this WILL make you tired!!!

I want to share my day with you. Before I start, I will let you know that this is gonna wear you out AND also let you know that I got my digital camera for Mother's Day/My Birthday/My anniversary, so BEWARE: There WILL be an obnoxious amount of pictures from here on out because uploading is very easy! (Well, it WILL be easy when Blogger is working well...I have tons of pictures that I will load tomorrow, Lord willing!)

Okay here we go. I started my day when the alarm went off at 6:30 (argh) Well, actually my day might have started earlier than that as Blayne slithered into my bed RIGHT next to me at 3:30 AM....okay, so after the alarm went off and I stumbled out of bed, I was met by Savannah who announced that her throat was hurting and that she had already taken her temperature and she had a fever of 100! My head started spinning at all that I had to do today and the fact that John is in mandatory training for three days, so he can't help! At 6:45, I called my mother-in-law, and I think that I woke her up. I started explaining my day and all of the details, she she graciously offered to help me however she could. So, I sent Savannah back to bed with some Tylenol. I got Blayne and Whitney dressed, fed and ready for school, and then I woke up Reagan and we headed out the door to do carpool. We picked up our two carpool friends and headed to school. After drop-off, I realized that I didn't have the napkins and plates that I needed for Blayne's class party. I ran back home and grabbed the napkins and headed to school. I got Blayne to class, and then headed to the bakery to get cupcakes for his and Xavier's birthday celebration today in class. I also had to go to the store and get a PURPLE t-shirt and a white pillow case for Blayne. His teacher had "forgotten" to tell me that those items were needed for TODAY! I rushed back to school and gave the teacher the cupcakes, napkins and plates, and the PURPLE shirt and WHITE pillowcase!!!! In the time that I was on the road, I had called the pediatrician and gotten Savannah an appointment. I ran back home where she was sleeping on the couch. She awoke and told me that she had thrown up...in the toilet. I started packing her bags for her to go to her Nana's for the day and I heard and awful noise in the kitchen...she had gotten sick all over the floor! Poor thing, she kept apologizing to me, sweet girl! I got her dressed and loaded up in the car with her barf bowl in hand. We (with Reagie in the back) headed to the doctor. Savannah was miserable. We waited in the car and the office called my cell phone so that Savannah could just lie down and rest. They called and we drug in to the office. Savannah was immediately tested for Strep as the nurse listened to her symptoms. It very quickly came back positive. Everything else looked good except for her 102 fever! The doctor offered, liquid, chewables or a shot for her medicine...she chose the SHOT! THAT is how miserable she was. It was actually two shots. She did awesome. After waiting to make sure that there was not an allergic reaction, I quickly headed to Blayne's pre-school to pick he and his best buddy, Xavier, because I was keeping Xavier for the day as his mom was in charge of Field Day at their school! Whew! My mother-in-law was there entertaining the boys at the playground, I swapped her Savannah for the boys...poor Savannah got sick in the grass before we left. They headed to the other side of town, where Savannah spent most the day sleeping, and I took two excited boys to McDonalds for lunch (not knowing that McD's was giving out FREE sandwiches today) There was a huge crowd...not kids but adults. The boys enjoyed playing and eating. Reagan had fun too! We then went home where I supervised darts, lego building and tried to get them to rest and watch a movie. As soon at Whitney got home from school (thanks Beth) we headed to Chuck E Cheese for Xavier's birthday part! I spent the next three hours there chasing three of my kids and visitn with other moms! We came home and played outside for a bit and then I bathed kids and put them to bed. John brought Savannah home this evening. She is feeling better, but not great. The doctor said that she would feel better tonight and good tomorrow! Well, that was my day! Tomorrow is Blayne's REAL birthday and I am in charge of a playgoup that is going Casa Manana to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I am also taking Balyne and Camden to The Purple Cow to eat lunch. Xavier is coming too and we will celebrate their birthdays some more! It is really neat have two buddies sharing the same birthday!
