Magic Time Machine

Tonight we treated the kids to dinner at Magic Time Machine in Dallas. A couple of months ago, a local Christian radio station was offering a deal that if you bought a $50 gift card, you only have to pay $25! John and I talked about it, and decided that would be fun night for our family and we have been waiting for a good time to go. Tonight was the night! They don't take reservations on the weekends, so we got there by 6 and only had a 5 minute wait! Our waiter was hilarious, although, I know nothing about the show he was in! He said a lot of funny things and snuck up on us a few times. We were sitting the carousel table and he turned the horses around so that their rears were facing us....the kids thought that was hilarious!!!

We got to see Cinderella!!!!

We got to be entertained by a broom that moved and talked on its own! Reagan was apprehensive, but then was really excited about it!

We had a terrific magician come tableside and do some tricks. The kids were amazed and I have to admit that I am still wondering how he made the Sharpie Marker go THROUGH the card that Whitney had written her name on! (I have the card and there is no hole in it!) I got a great picture of that pen sticking through that card!!!! How did he do that? Whitney was smiling ear to ear when she was asked to pick a card. He told her that if he messed up the trick, he would use another man's wallet and buy her a treat at the front desk, he actually pulled a wallet out of his jacket, and it had another man's license in it and the wallet went up in flames while we was talking! It was very fun slight of hand illusion just inches away from us. Blayne couldn't quit laughing, Savannah was grinning the whole time and Reagan sat there with her mouth open!

They enjoyed a colored bubbly drink!

It was a fun night of being out together! We are trying to get in our fun family outings before we add a newborn to the brood!

Goodness, I did not think those were even around anymore. I remember them from Student Council trips and the like during high school. Looks like a great time:) Thinking of you often as the time approaches:)
