Eating bananas for a snack. Notice that she has taken off her shoes and lined them up with her pacifier on the table...funny girl!
This picture depicts her a little better for yesterday!
Well, yesterday was such a different day without "my girls" (that is what Blayne calls them) being here. After taking Whitney to school and visiting with other parents there and taking my PTA pictures for my scrapbook that I have to make as the Historian, we headed home. Oh, and while we were there, I thought that I had broken Reagan's arm...as we were walking down the hallway, she decided to put her arm out of the stroller as we passed a pole. It bent her arm backward...lovely...so while I was getting Whitney into her classroom, taking the first day of school picture, Reagan was screaming like an abused child in the hallway...Whitney's teacher is probably dreading having me around this year assuming that I will have "that kid" with me! Anyway, we headed home. We weren't home 5 minutes before Reagan had climbed in the pantry and gotten herself a box of cereal which she accidentally dropped UPSIDE down (of course) and spilled in a huge pile on the kitchen floor. I had gone to change clothes and was greeted by her saying "oh-no-mess". I went to inquire, and Blayne met me there and said "mom, Reagan spilled the cereal and made a mess". He saw her do it, and did not come to get me, did not try to help her, nothing....just watched! So after Reagan and I cleaned up Mt. Cereal, I decided that I am going to be more structured with her days now that school is in session. I took her to her room, started her favorite CD, got out some fun toys, closed the gate that is in her doorway of her room and smiled and told her "you are now going to have some roomtime!" She frowned at me and said "don't like it", I very happily said "oh you will for 20 minutes" and I walked away, I set the timer, and raced about doing dishes, laundry and making beds. About 5 minutes into it, she started screaming. I thought "Nope, I'm not listening, she can handle this for 20 minutes..." I turned off the monitor and went about my business. About 10 minutes of screaming later, I hear her say something about "mess", so I wen to investigate. There, I found my almost two year old, crying VERY loudly, sweat and tears all over her face, and snot too!, she was standing at the gate with her shirt on, no pants no DIAPER, poop on her legs and feet, and she was trying to pull up a shirt like pants, her legs were in the armholes. The smell was awful. I picked her up and took a quick survey of the room. Yep, multiple poop sightings! I took her and rinsed her off then gave her a complete bath. I dressed her in fresh clothes and put her in her bed to watch as I started the 2 1/2 hour clean-up process. Apparently she had climbed up on the double bed that is in her room and peed....I had to strip the bed down the mattress, two of her babies had poop on their faces, don't know how that happened! She got it on two decorative pillows, a towel, a puzzle and there were three PILES on the carpet! It was like a puppy mill in there or something in that short 10-15 minutes of her ROOM TIME!!!!! I had to use the carpet cleaner and lots of stain remover and of course air freshener!!!! It was awful. I should have taken pictures. I didn't because the last time I took poop pictures John was very grossed out, so I thought that other people not be able to handle my poop shoots! Oh, and later she got on the bunkbeds, took the DS and unloaded a bookshelf....needless to say, I missed having my 2 extra sets of eyes today on her! Not that I have my girls babysit, but I guess that I didn't realize how attentive they are to Reagan and they always let me know when she is getting into something. It was also funny to me how oblivious to it all that Blayne was. If she wasn't in his way, he didn't care what she was doing! Oh, the re-adjustment to school! Which by the way, BOTH girls game home giddy with excitement from their first day of School. Savannah talked a lot about her day and all of the exciting things that will happen in 5th grade. Whitney told me what she did at recess and how much she liked getting to have a snack at school!

What a day, maybe you could enroll Reagan in school too! That's funny about Blayne. The boys are the same way. I can ask them to listen for Jack and when I come inside, he'll be WAILING. I'll give them "the look" and they'll look at me and say, "Mommy, Jack is crying." So helpful!
