Skating and Whitney's Brown Twin

Today, I took the kids skating. We had planned to swim A LOT this week, but seeing as it is raining ALL day EVERY day, skating seemed like a better option. I think that most of the moms in our area thought the same...well, actually, it was daycares that thought the same plan for today. Oh well, we had fun. Whitney had planned to invite Meredith for a play date to swim this week, but we called and invited her to go skating with us. It was so funny to have the two of them together. I decided by the end of the afternoon that Meredith and Whitney are the brown and white version of the same child. They think a lot a like and they break out into song, finish each other's sentences, saw off-the-wall comments; it is so weird! They had fun and we enjoyed having Meredith along with us. I was able to have Blayne's skates tightened so he was able to skate all over the place. He even joined in on the Limbo game . Reagan got to "people watch" with me which is always fun. Please note that my children dressed themselves today...(Michelle, you will be laughing at Blayne, didn't Preston wear that shirt for school pictures when you were out of town and your mom was babysitting? Apparently Blayne has the same affection for that shirt! Tamera you will notice that Whitney is REALLY enjoying Allee's shirt...she loves those sleeve things and thinks that she looks so cool!)
We finished off our afternoon with ice-cream at Braums! Ice-cream makes any day perfect, right?
