DI Competition

I have been running like crazy this week, so I apologize for being slow in my posts...
This is a slideshow from last weekend. Whitney participated in Destination Imagination this year and their competition was ON her birthday. It was a great experience for her. She had wonderful coaches and it was a great outlet for her creativity to shine! The kids wrote a story and made it into a play. Their topic was "hidden place" They came up with a purse with lots of objects inside and a mishap with a water bottle that spills on a cell phone (played by Whitney). They had a great time and really worked well together. Sine it was on her birthday, we brought cupcakes with FLAMING FIRES(her team name) on them. The team sang Happy Birthday to her with quiet voices since we were in the hallway of the school and they presented her with a birthday card. It was a great day and it reminded me of how much Whitney loves to be on stage!
