Grandpa has to make a monthly trip to Bossier City to BASS Pro shop for his part time job, so we all packed up and went along with him! Bee took the big kids to see the movie "Race to Witch Mountain" and Reagan and I did some shopping. It is a neat shopping center that is outdoors next to the River. The kids enjoyed the movie and I enjoyed my shopping! We got to watch a pretty fountain that is in sync with music. We also go to see a little boy fall in the fountain pond and his grandmother fish him out with the monkey backpack leash that he was wearing (I really wish that I would have taken a picture!) The kids also enjoyed a carousel ride and dinner at SONIC!
When we returned to meet up with my dad at BASS Pro Shoppe, I told the kids that I would give 50 cents to the first kids that spotted Grandpa. While they were looking (VERY HARD) my dad came around behind them and found us! Whitney being the quick witted child that she is yelled "I found him!"
It was a fun filled day for the kiddos. They are amazed that we went ALL THE WAY to Louisiana for Grandpa's work (less than and hour!) Highlight of the day were: the movie, the fountain, the carousel, the trolley, Bass Pro, and of course SONIC!
