As I am still catching up on our blog and trying to live out our REAL lives simultaneously, I have seen that there are still some gaps and some important events that were not "blogged". One such event was the family birthday party for Savannah, Blayne and Cousin Jack back in May. We all gathered at Mammaw's community pool (without Mammaw because she was in Arkansas visiting "the girls" AKA her sisters). We enjoyed a simple lunch of sandwiches, fruit and chips and a yummy Costco cake. We refilled the pull string Darth Vader pinata (from Blayne's friend party) and taped it up good and let the cousins bust that sucker! The kids had a great time and it was an easy party, especially easy when you go in with another mom (my sister-in-law) for food and party supplies! As we always say "Mammaw sure knows how to throw a party!" (even when she is not there...tee-hee!)
