Libby News

Thanks for praying. Libby had a good night last night. Gracie has not posted on carepages, but I talked with their sitter, Araenae, this morning. The boys are supposed to actually get to SEE Libby this morning. The doctor or someone is going to check them out to see that they are healthy enough to be in there! Pray that the visit goes well. The sitter told me that the Grandfather fainted yesterday while he was in the room with Libby. They think that it was a smell or something that got to him....hmmm, I guess I am around smells all of the time here because I didn't notice any smell! (just that sterile hospital smell!) Anyway, I am sure that was stressful for all. The sitter didn't know if he fell all the way to the floor or anything, you know me, I would have asked for ALL of the details! They did put him on a gurney and hooked him up to monitors to make sure that he was okay. I guess he checked out alright. Araenae has had the boys all week, but the family hosting them took the boys today and they are letting her have the day off. She was relaxing. Those boys are up at 6 AM every morning, so she has been having some long days! She's young, and can handle it.
Libby is resting better. She is less agitated and the nurse told Araenae yesterday that she is reacting like any child who has been sedated with this medication. So good to hear that she is doing what is "normal" for post surgery. The nurse said that after she gets some good rest, she will stop being so agitated. I will post more when I hear more......
