My parents rented a house on the Brazos River north of Lake Whitney and we all enjoyed a week of togetherness. We enjoyed the house that we stayed in and the kids were very impressed with the "trail" that was behind out house....it was a steep, steep, rocking climb! Whitney actually fell on a Prickly Pear! We enjoyed slowing down and playing board games, reading, going for boat rides and exploring on the beach. We also did a couple of outings during the week. We enjoyed some wonderful meals together and my dad made us the tiniest cutest ice-cream cones on most nights.

How funny! We wakeboard on the San Bernard River, but to get to it, we go over the Brazos. Guess we're a few miles down from you! :) Sounds like FUN!
