Reading Cafe

Each year, the 3rd grade does a reading cafe. They host the students from other classes and serve refreshments and read books that they have prepared along with menus that tell about the summaries of each book. I was able to attend the cafe when Whitney was reading and Blayne's class was there to be read to! Whitney got to use her apron that she received for Christmas a couple of years ago. She looked like a waitress from Cracker Barrel. She was in her element for sure! She enjoyed every minute of getting to read to those kids!
