Great News About Libby

Libby has had a great day. Her irritability is much improved, and her central line (big IV) was taken out this afternoon. She is also off the constant monitoring of her heart rate/rhythym (sp?). There is some discussion that she may be able to be discharged tomorrow, but we really don't have our hopes up. They are still adjusting meds and watching her chest x-rays daily for reaccumulation of that fluid. I think Dr Fraser is surprised at how well she is doing. I told him today "See, you are better than you thought you were." He didn't comment. He was really sweet with Libby. He said "Why are you griping at me?" because she was still grumpy when he came by. It was funny.

We'll update tomorrow when we get news about discharge.
